Live Dashboard
Live Dashboard shows the current Stream Session, its running totals, and up to 20 recent activity records.
Open GRiMbar > Stream > Live & Stats > Live Dashboard.
The window checks for new data every 12 seconds. It has no manual refresh button.
Live and offline states
| State | Display |
|---|---|
| Live now | Shows the current title, category, uptime in whole minutes, start time, and current lurker count when available. |
| Offline | Explains that the counters remain zero until the next stream starts and that the window will check again. |
| Loading | Shows Loading live dashboard… until the first request completes. |
| Error | Shows an error dialog when the dashboard request fails. |
Live Dashboard reads the current Stream Session known to GRiMbot. It does not start or stop a Twitch stream.
Counters
| Counter | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Messages | Chat Messages recorded for the current Stream Session. |
| Chatters | Distinct chatters recorded for the current Stream Session. |
| Follows | Follow events recorded for the current Stream Session. |
| Subs | Subscription events recorded for the current Stream Session. |
| Bits | Total bits recorded for the current Stream Session. |
| Raids | Incoming Raids recorded for the current Stream Session. |
The API calculates these figures from the current Stream Session summary. When GRiMbot has no current session summary, the counters are zero.
Recent activity
The table contains:
| Column | Contents |
|---|---|
| Time | The event time formatted for display. |
| Event | The recorded event kind. |
| User | The display name, login, or a blank marker when neither exists. |
| Detail | Event detail, or a blank marker when no detail exists. |
Click a column heading to sort by that column. The default order is newest time first.
The API returns the last 20 records from the current Stream Session. If none exist, the table states that follows, subscription events, cheers, and Raids will appear as they arrive.

Failure handling
| Problem | Action |
|---|---|
| Dashboard stays offline while Twitch is live | Check Twitch and bot connections in Connection Status. Live Dashboard cannot create a missing Stream Session. |
| Counters remain zero | Confirm that GRiMbot has a current Stream Session and is receiving the relevant Chat Messages or events. |
| Recent activity is empty | Wait for an event and the next 12-second poll. Then check EventSub authorization in System Status if Twitch events still do not arrive. |
| Error dialog appears | Restore GRiMbOS access to GRiMbot. Close and reopen the window after the API is available. |
| Old stream information is needed | Open Stream Sessions. Live Dashboard only reports the current session. |
Boundaries
Live Dashboard is read-only. It does not edit the stream title, category, content classification, or tags. Use Stream Setup for those changes.
It does not display past sessions. See Analytics and sessions.
The current lurker count counts active Lurker Presence records for the current Stream Session. It is separate from the six summary counters.
