File Browser
Open Media → Library → File Browser. This is an Explorer-style window for sorting Media Library clips into folders. Playback settings stay in Media Library.
Folder tree
The left tree always contains Video, Audio, and GIFs. Those three roots cannot be renamed or deleted. Folders you create live under them.
- Select Video, Audio, or GIFs, or a folder under one of those roots.
- Click New Folder to create a folder in the open location.
- Drag clips into a folder, or select a clip and click Move To….
- Double-click a folder to open it.
- Double-click a file to see its properties.
- Click Test to play the selected clip on its overlay target.
Controls
| Control | Effect |

| Large Icons / Details | Changes the right pane. Details shows length and file size. |
| New Folder | Creates a folder inside the open folder. |
| Rename | Changes the label shown in GRiMbOS. It does not rename the stored filename. |
| Delete | Removes the selected item. Deleting a folder does not destroy clips. They move up one level. |
| Move To… | Sends the selection to another folder. |
| Add Media | Opens Add Media into the folder that is open. |
