Action Chains
An Action Chain is an ordered list of actions that GRiMbot runs from one trigger. Point Redemptions, Custom Commands, Button Box, Event Alerts, and Voice Commands all use this model.

Run Actions
| Setting | Behavior |
|---|---|
| In order | Actions run top to bottom. Delay waits before the next step. |
| All at once | GRiMbot starts every action at the same time. Delay does not wait. |
Put Delay between other actions only when Run Actions is In order. Cooldown is not Delay. Cooldown is a quiet period after the whole chain before the same trigger can run again.
Shared rules
- The action catalog is curated per trigger. Button Box can run a Custom Command. Custom Commands cannot nest another Custom Command.
- Spotify, OBS, TTS, and AI Bot Response appear only when the matching plugin is installed.
- Confirm Press applies to Button Box only. Use it on actions that would be expensive to fire by accident.
- AI Bot Response is marked destructive in Button Box. Confirm Press is recommended.
Verification
- Add a Send chat message action with a unique test line.
- Fire the trigger while offline or with a test account.
- Confirm the Chat Message in Twitch.
- Check Connection Status if the action needs Spotify, OBS, or Streamer.bot.
