Discord Integration posts go-live announcements, relays Twitch chat links, replies to @mentions, sends custom announcements, and provides a broadcaster-only delete command.

Third-party requirements

Create a Discord application with a bot token at the Discord Developer Portal.

Enable Message Content Intent on that bot.

Invite the bot to your server. It needs permission to send messages. Manage Messages is required if you want !del.

Copy Server ID and channel IDs. In Discord, enable Developer Mode, then right-click and Copy ID.

AI Integration is optional. It is used for AI Chat replies and Custom Announcement Generate.

Setup order

Create the bot, enable Message Content Intent, and invite it.

Open Discord Bot Settings → Bot. Paste the token. Set Broadcaster Discord user ID for delete. Tick Discord Enabled. Click Save.

On the Server tab, paste Server ID. Click Save. Click Test Connection.

Open Channel Setup. Assign one channel each for Go-Live, Link Review, and Custom Announcement. AI Chat may be on more than one channel. Click Test, then Save.

Open Message Setup for templates and preview. Go-live message text is where you type @everyone if you want a ping.

Before a stream, set today's stream preview on the Go-Live tab.

Delete

In Discord, !del 5 removes that many recent messages plus the command. N is 1 to 20. Only the Broadcaster Discord user ID may run it. Rename the command on Bot Settings if del conflicts with another bot.

Go-live thumbnail

When Include stream thumbnail is on, the go-live message posts immediately without an image. GRiMbot waits five minutes, then polls the Twitch preview for up to one minute until it is a real frame, and edits that image onto the same Discord message. If Twitch still serves the offline placeholder after that wait, the message stays without a thumbnail.

Custom Announcement

Draft a message. You may set stream start Date and Time in Bot Timezone. You may include countdown text. Generate is an AI rewrite in the preview. It does not post. Send posts the previewed text. Date and Time fields clear when you close Message Setup.

Chat tab

Mention cooldown is seconds between @mention replies per user. Relay Twitch chat links copies http and https URLs from Twitch into the Link Review channel.
